SHARI BERMAN has completed Sugar! the feature film that she directed, starring Tony Award winner Alice Ripley and SAG Award winner Robert Clohessy. Shari is also in the process of editing her Super 8 experimental film Woman, putting together a video that encapsulates her science fiction TV series Numbers and donating her time choreographing a production of Mary Poppins for a junior/senior high school. In October, LOIS DILIVIO had a very successful six performance run of her original show Who Is Babs del Rio? A Memoir Fable with Music at The Nu Box Theater at John DeSotelle Studio on West 43rd in New York City. She was very fortunate to have the fantastic Cordis Heard as director and Patrick Ryan Bolger as co-star. Together, they told this story of the trauma of and healing from child abuse with lots of humor, and received great support and appreciation from their audiences.

GRACEANN DORSE attended the Cinema on the Bayou Film Festival to premiere her film The Skull. After that, it will have its West Coast premiere at the LA Indie Film Festival on March 6th.  She wrote an original two-minute monologue which will be performed at the Manhattan Monologue Slam on February 29th. She was selected out of about 25 participants in the December competition to come back in February to do this!

AMY GUGGENHEIM is working on her dramatic feature film When Night Turns To Day, a gritty, erotic love story set in the world of Kendo (a Japanese martial art). They are presently casting, and plan to shoot mostly in New York and Tokyo in 2016.

BILL YOUNG will be performing in the Anthoy Meindl Actor Workshop Comedy Show Case on March 4th.  He is also currently rehearsing a new caberet show and preparing a new recording of Walt Whitman’s poetry and prose entitled Mr. Whitman’s War.

KERSTIN KARLHUBER’S first feature film, Fair Haven, has been acquired by the internationally renowned sales and distribution firm The Little Film Company. The film stars Michael Grant (Secret Life of the American Teenager), Tom Wopat (Django Unchained, Luke Duke in the classic Dukes of Hazzard series) and Josh Green (Alvin and the Chipmunks: Road Chip, in theaters now). Robbie Little, Co-President of The Little Film Company, commented, “Fair Haven is a brave, emotional film about love and understanding which explores the repercussions of conversion therapy, a controversial practice which has so far been banned in three states.” Fair Haven’s premiere and distribution plans will be announced soon. Kerstin is actively developing two new projects, a feature film and a limited series based on the extraordinary true story of a little-known historical figure.

NAOMI MCDOUGALL JONES was hired to write the screenplay adaptation of Miranda July’s short story, Roy Spivey for Amazon’s original series The New Yorker Presents, now available online – Naomi’s episode will air March 1st . She has attached up-and-coming Canadian director Hannah Cheesman to her second feature film, Bite Me, filming in 2016, and is in development on an original hour-long narrative television series,The Dark Pieces.  The Dark Pieces was just chosen for the 2016 WriteHer List which features the top yet to be produced TV pilots written by women in the Television Industry!

ARTHUR VINCIE has started his latest project, the fictional webseries “Three Trembling Cities.”  It’s an intimate portrait of six of the immigrants who make New York City exceptional.  The 10-episode first season follows six characters as they juggle jobs, roommates, romance, friendships, dreams and family expectations.  He just completed a successful Seed and Spark crowdfunding campaign and is in the process of casting, location scouting and pre-production for a May shoot.  Head to http://www.3tremblingcities.com for details.
